I have ALWAYS wanted to try African foods so when I googled and this place popped up, I just had to go! Not to mention, for me its only a 30 min drive to get to. Now this place is not the most attractive from the outside, so it may be off-putting. Please don't judge it by its cover! The food is AMAZING!!! It's not your typical restaurants with a greeter, or servers. It's literally a one man show. You come in, get a menu from the front counter, and seat yourself. Once you know what you want, if no one is at the register you ring the bell. You order and pay for your food at the register, sit back down and wait for your food to come out. From the time we ordered and the food coming out, I'd say it only took about 15-20 mins to get our food! The guy who took our order at the register was the sane guy who brought out our food. I'm not sure if he was the owner or not, but he was very accommodating,he made us feel welcomed, and ensured we had what we needed. The area where you eat is very clean. There are not a lot of tables to eat at so I would come when they arr not at their busiest or call ahead for pick-up. I absolutely loved the food! The food was very flavorful, good portions for the price and service was pretty quick! I came with my two children and 2 other people. The portions of food can be shared and you still will get full. We were the only customers there sitting at a table to eat. There were plenty of people coming in to order for take out or picking up food, so I believe that this restaurant gets a lot of business. I will definitely be coming back to try more items on the menu.

I ordered the oxtail stew with jollof rice and plantain, (to-go )and everything was absolutely delicious! The food came out steaming hot, full of flavor, and the portions were very generous. What really stood out to me was the amazing customer service. I was warmly greeted, enjoyed great conversation with the owner while I waited , and felt truly appreciated as a customer. You can tell they genuinely care and go above and beyond to make sure you’re happy. Highly recommend this spot—I’ll definitely be coming back!
I had the jollof rice with beef and plantains. It was delicious! Everything was fresh and cooked to perfection. The meat was tender and flavorful. They give you a nice portion for the price also. I recommend.

While in Ga, My fiancee and I visited Massa African Restaurant and they did not disappoint. The food here was hot and flavorful. Plus the amount of food was right for the price. Not only do they have great food, they have a small market where you can get African spices, etc. I highly recommend coming here if you're visiting this location or living here.
